The inner kraft paper layer is an industrial-grade paper treated with moisture-proof impregnation. Common weights are 80g/m² and 120g/m², providing stable basic vapor barrier capabilities. This effectively prevents moisture and condensation from directly contacting the inner side of the aluminum substrate, delaying oxidation and corrosion on the back. Meanwhile, the paper layer possesses natural cushioning properties. On one hand, it prevents the aluminum sheet from scraping against fiber-based insulation materials such as glass wool and rock wool, maintaining the integrity of the core material structure and reducing heat loss. On the other hand, it significantly increases the friction of the material's inner surface, making it less prone to slippage and misalignment when wrapping circular pipes. It also greatly improves the fit of irregularly shaped parts such as elbows, tees, and reduce on-site construction difficulty. The composite interface peel strength is ≥1.2N/25mm, with no risk of delamination, separation, or curling within the normal service temperature range of -20℃ to 70℃.

In terms of application adaptability, aluminum cladding with kraft paper moisture barrier covers the vast majority of conventional insulation projects: it is suitable for indoor central air conditioning ducts, HVAC pipes, building roof insulation systems, and industrial equipment room temperature insulation. It can also be used for outdoor piping projects in dry areas. For harsh conditions such as extremely humid environments, coastal areas with high salt spray, or long-term immersion in water, a high-grade version with a polyethylene vapor barrier is recommended.
