Cold rolled CC (continuous casting) aluminum coil is produced by continuously casting liquid aluminum directly into thin slabs, which are then cold rolled. This process combines casting and rolling, simplifying the production process and offering advantages such as high efficiency, energy conservation, and low cost. Cold rolled aluminum coil is widely used in the automotive, construction and electronics industries. Cold rolled CC aluminum coil is produced from cast billets through multiple cold rolling mill passes to the target thickness (typically 0.2-5.0mm). Annealing eliminates work hardening, resulting in excellent ductility and formability. Common aluminum alloy grades include 1060 (pure aluminum) and 3003 (aluminum-manganese alloy), and tempers include O (annealed), H12 (quarter hard), and H14 (half hard).
